Water Tap at Bates Split

Good News!

The water tap at the Bates Split is operational again.
This is the third new valve after repairs on the first model proved ineffective.
We will still need your help to assure proper functioning of the valve - we must avoid constant drips or flows while shut off.

Please

Observe and let us know immediately if you find any seepage around the handle or pipe extension.

Be sure to close valve completely.

Bulk Water Users Advisory

By now you are aware that bulk water fees were increased May 1, 2009 to reflect more adequately the cost of delivery. We request that you continue to use the coin machine carefully as to prevent jamming of the coin chute of the operating mechanism. On May 13, for the first time in many years, we had to correct a "jam" to clear operational problems.
Please note that that the emergency number has been changed and we will add additional contact information in case of further difficulties.
Above all, please insert US quarters only to receive the allotted amount of water.

Thanks
